ATP was formed by the merger of Plantation Timber Products and Asia Dekor, two pioneers in the high-end wood panel and laminate flooring industry in China. ATP can trace its history back to 1993 with the commissioning of its first MDF production site in Leshan, Sichuan Province. This was the first MDF line setup in China using European equipment. ATP still maintains its strong leadership position constantly improving quality, products and service. ATP has strong environmental management practices and operates world class production facilities.

ATP is owned by funds advised by CVC Asia Pacific Ltd, the Asian affiliate of the leading global private equity firm "CVC Capital Partners". CVC owns 51 companies around the world with approximately 447,000 employees and combined turnover of €88 billion (approximately USD 123 billion). CVC acquired ATP in 2006.

ATP’s products combine world class manufacturing expertise with economies of scale in production and sourcing of raw materials with highly developed sales networks and marketing programs.

Plantation Timber Products Group International (PTP Group) is the largest subsidiary of ATP and is the supplier of high-end fiberboard and other deep processing products in China .PTP Group, initiated and founded by Mr. Mo Ruoyu and Mr. Shi Binzhe in 1993, is the example of success in terms of IFC investment in mainland China with its scale of investment reaching 150 million U.S. dollars. Currently, its products include MDF/HDF, decorative sheet, laminate flooring. As for its high end sheet( 6mm or below in thickness), PTP Group has captured 70% market share in the field of MDF/HDF, supplying for more than 120 processors of furniture, packaging, decorative materials, handicrafts, electronic circuit plate.etc and has become the first choice for renowned raw materials suppliers in all sectors. As regards to its laminated flooring, PTP is now on the top 10 list in the field of China laminated flooring and has been honored national inspection-free product for 3 consecutive years.

In China, PTP Group has two production bases with its marketing headquarters located in Shanghai--The financial center in China. Moreover , different sales branches are currently set in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Beijing, Wuhan, Chengdu and other cities in China .Besides, there are altogether 25 logistics centers, 750 flooring stores and 850 distribution centers of fiberboard with an annual turnover of more than 900 million RMB and nearly 2,000 employees from around the world.

Leshan Production Base
"PTP(Leshan)" was built in 1997 and is proud of its premium production line of MDF/HDF with an annual output of 100,000 cubic meters ,800 million square meters of laminate flooring and boasts of its top-grade workshop covering an area of 25 million square meters for impregnation processing of decorative paper.

The "19 Meters Conti Panel" of German Tiefenbach and other equipments of Homaq GRUPPE and Vits have been introduced into this production base.

Shishou Production Base

PTP(Hubei) has three production lines: The advanced conti panel from Germany Tiefenbach ,press from French Mende and the portrait plate from Italy respectively and one finest MDF/HDF production line featured by its annual output of 150,000 cubic meters.

The energy center of this base was established by the introduction of environmental- friendly equipments from Sweden .All processing residues are recycled and taken full advantage of, which is conductive to both the alleviation of environmental contamination and for the sake of company by saving its energy.

Sewage disposal is in conformity to the National Level One Standards of Sewage Discharge and ensures recycling. Therefore, this production base is crowned the epitome of economical protection of environment in the field of plantation processing by China Composite Panel Association.

We have a broad coverage of products ranging from MDF(Medium Density Fibreboard )and PB (Partical Board) to laminate flooring,etc. We also provide premium products of price competitiveness to meet the requirements of all levels and various customers.

ATP always establishes corporate image by improving its product quality, security management and the contribution of its environmental protection.The latest green energy equipments are introduced and each plant is supported by its own energy center to allow the recycling of processing residuals and sewage. We abandon the use of wild-growth forest. Instead, through the cooperation with local forestry sector, we cultivate fast-growing trees which grow into useful timber in 5 years and can be recycled, which has brought sound profit to local forest workers. Therefore, we were entitled the epitome of economical protection of environment in plantation processing industry by Chinese Composite Panel Association.

CEO Mr. Paul Weatherall has over 35 years global industry experience in wood panel and laminate production, distribution and sales.

Mr. Weatherall has held senior management global roles based in a number of countries including Australia and the USA with a solid background in operations, distribution and sales.

He has previously worked at top private and publicly listed companies.

He leads a high quality international management team from the company’s head office in Shanghai, China.

PTP flooring is the first of its kind domestically to employ green and gray baseplate that is damp-proof and environmental friendly, and strictly in accordance with European E1and Japanese JISE0 standards.;

PTP flooring was announced as the best floor with excellent composite indicator and the lowest formaldehyde content by Bureau of Technical Supervision of Sichuan Province in August 1999.
PTP flooring was certified ISO9002 by the International System of Quality for the first time in August 1999 and was honored a second time in August 2005
PTP flooring was accredited as Chinese environmental labeling product #001 for the first time in January 2000 and was honored a second time in March 2006
PTP flooring was certified ISO14001 by the National Environmental Management System in January 2001

The introduction of equipments of Swedish energy plant promoted the establishment of PTP Energy Center, which helps reduce environmental contamination and save the company's energy. Its sewage disposal is in conformity to the National Level One Standards of Sewage discharge and allows recycling, which is therefore crowned the epitome of economical protection of environment.
